Our son has only been learning to play the drums with Gabriel for the last few months but the amount he has developed and learnt in that short space of time is amazing. Gabriel is an excellent teacher with lots of patience and understanding, also giving plenty of encouragement / constructive feedback. Would highly recommend.

Gabe, I would just like to say how much I am enjoying learning to play the drums. You can teach "an old dog new tricks " I'm the proof. Lol. Each lesson builds on the last one and you teach it with such a calm and patient nature, I couldn't wish for a nicer teacher. Keep up the good work and I'll be a rock chick before you know it.

I started taking drum lessons with Gabe as a complete beginner; absolutely no drumming experience whatsoever. However, within a few weeks I found myself being able to competently play simple beats, but more importantly, be able to figure out for myself in my own time how to go about tackling harder ones. Having moved from Bristol for university, I still get to use the skills he taught me regularly when composing music or playing with my band. You don't just learn to play the drums, you also gain a keen insight into how rhythm factors into all aspects of musical performance.

I've really enjoyed taking drum lessons with Gabriel. I haven’t got a lot of time to practise due to a very busy life, but there is no pressure, it is a very relaxed environment to learn in, but I get a lot out of the lessons: I enjoy it and feel like I’m making good progress, even though I’m not trying to become a professional.
It’s a nice set up and I enjoy playing along to music on the computer and being able to see what I am doing on screen. He is a very positive teacher, which has helped me a lot, because I’m not good at taking criticism. I think the way he highlights what I’m doing best, as opposed to focussing on what I’m doing wrong, is really helpful. The way he focusses on what I should be doing rather than what I shouldn't be doing, reinforces the learning process and helps me to remember the right things, which is a life lesson for all of us to be honest. It is a nice positive way of learning. Technically, he is very good at picking out the essence of the errors, even if it’s just a tiny little thing and really getting to the nub of why it is happening, so I can understand what I need to do. This is then reinforced with exercises which fix the problem, rather than just aimlessly bashing my head against a wall. It is a very pleasant and easy way to learn.

Learning drums with Gabe was an enjoyable experience in a well structured manner. The learning style was methodical and well thought out, creating a natural progression through the skills and techniques that was easy to follow and advance yet challenging enough to make it stick in your mind. Personality wise Gabe is a friendly and helpful teacher, always patient to the student's level of skill and willing to tailor make the learning to help with any struggles the student may encounter. All in all I would highly recommend learning the drums with Gabe, you're guaranteed to have loads of fun and become a great drummer!

Just want to take a few well deserved moments to say OUT LOUD how grateful I am ! I have a 14 year old who, any parent of a teenager will know, has temporarily had his 'enthusiasm for anything bar Xbox' gene removed. But something happens in his drumming lessons....and it's a joy to watch. He's engaged, excited.... and clearly hooked !!!!
Gabriel....you are a marvel! You seem to instinctively know how to capture his interest...and where to go next to keep that alive.... ....your own knowledge and attention to detail are impressive and imparted in such an intelligent, yet 'cool and relaxed' manner .. ....and your enthusiasm for what you do is utterly infectious.
To say I'm impressed. ...is an understatement. Thank you for doing what you do....as well as you do it.

Gabriel is a fantastic, patient drum teacher to my youngest son Zach. I knew Gabriel before I acquired his drum teaching skills, but I love him even more now, for bearing with the trials and tribulations of my youngest. Gabriel works very well with Zach and Zach very much enjoys the lessons. He listens, pays attention and very much respects Gabe. I love Gabe for the hour he spends with Zach!

Gabriel is a fantastic drum teacher. He has been our son’s drum teacher for the past 8 months. We are delighted with how far Hugo has come in that time. It is so wonderful to find a music teacher that can deliver lessons in the way he does with such an ability to motivate Hugo. He makes the lessons fun and easy to understand. Gabriel has been incredibly calm and patient with Hugo, who at times can be a challenging & restless 6 year old!
Hugo has come a long way since starting lessons and has found a real love for music and drumming with inspiration. We are looking forward to seeing where this musical journey takes him. I would absolutely recommend Gabriel for anyone that wants to learn how to play the drums.
